We repeat the favorite and hearty dish, which is ideal for both lunch and dinner and leaves no family member indifferent.

For meatballs:

  • Green beef – 500 g

  • Pork meat – 250 g

  • Onion – 1 pc.

  • Garlic – 1 clove

  • Bread crumbs – 100 g

  • Chicken egg – 1 pc.

  • Milk – 5 tablespoons

  • Salt, ground black pepper – to taste

For sauce:

  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp

  • Butter – 50 g

  • wheat flour – 50 g

  • Vegetable broth – 150 ml

  • Beef broth – 150 ml

  • Mustard – 1 tsp

  • Soy sauce – 2 tsp

Cooking method:

Mix the ground beef and pork in a large bowl, the most important thing is to get rid of the lumps. Finely chop the onion and garlic and add to the minced meat together with the bread, break the egg and combine all the ingredients. To taste the milk, salt and pepper. Stir the minced meat again until smooth. If the consistency is too thick, add a little more milk.

Roll small meatballs (2.5-3 cm) and place them on a flat surface, cover with cling film and place in the fridge for 2-3 hours – then the minced meat will not stick to each other when frying. After the correct time, add a small amount of vegetable oil to the pan, heat it and fry the meatballs over medium heat until they are evenly browned on all sides. At the same time, heat the oven to 180 degrees and put in the oven for 30 minutes.

During this time you can prepare the cream sauce. Melt the butter in a pan, add the flour and mix well for a few minutes. Whisking constantly, add the vegetable and beef broth, soy sauce, cream, mustard and a little olive oil. Bring the sauce to a boil and continue to cook the sauce until it thickens. Not only will its consistency change, but also its color. Take the cooked meatballs out of the oven and pour over the sauce.
