Therefore, to attract him to you throughout the year, you must ensure that there is fish, seafood and a lot of meat on the table.
And so that the New Year continues without a taste of the past, we offer modern, hearty and healthy salads to replace the disgusting and boring Olivier, herring under a fur coat or mimosa.
New Year’s salad with shrimp and pepper
If you want to feel the festive mood from the first minute, make a New Year’s salad with shrimps and vegetables.
Take 500 grams of frozen shrimp, put in a pot with boiling water, salt and boil until tender. This will not take more than five minutes. Put in a colander, and when it is cold – they must be cleaned.
Boil 4 eggs and chop finely.
Wash a few fresh cucumbers, dry with a towel and cut into cubes. Pour a can of canned corn into a colander to drain all the liquid.
Remove the seeds from the bell pepper, then cut into thin strips. If you want a light New Year’s salad with prawns and cucumbers, use half red and half yellow or green peppers.
Cut the olives into rings.
Now continue with the filling. To do this, squeeze the juice from half a lemon and mix with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, add black pepper and salt to taste.
Now let’s go to the formation of the dish: cover the plate with green lettuce leaves. Mix all the ingredients with the prepared sauce and form a slide from them. The sauce can be changed at your own discretion, for example, dress the salad with mayonnaise.
Royal salad with caviar and red fish
This truly royal salad will satisfy even the most demanding gourmet and will become a favorite of your diners.
And in addition to the delicate taste, it also contains many useful substances and trace elements. It will look great both on a large plate and in parts. And well-chosen ingredients seem to complement each other, and it seems that the salad melts in the mouth.
So, take 4 potatoes, the same number of eggs and boil them. Then take two medium-sized onions, chop them finely and fry in a pan until golden brown.
Now make a big plate. Yes, yes, it’s a big one, because this dish will splinter in one or two…
Take 400 grams of salmon and divide it into two parts. Cut one into small pieces, the other into equal slices, with which you then decorate the salad.
On the bottom of the plate lay the snowfish, fried onion on it and grease well with mayonnaise. Next, grate the boiled potatoes. It is important not to forget to cover each layer of salad with mayonnaise. Then it will soak well and get a delicate taste.
Next – a layer of crab sticks. They should be taken 300 grams, finely chopped and evenly distributed on the surface. If you want to, they can be grated. And again, smear everything well with mayonnaise.
Then grate 200 grams of cheese on a coarse grater.
Finally, the last layer. To do this, take previously boiled eggs, separate the white from the yolk. The grated proteins will be the top layer. Spread the top with mayonnaise and lay the plates of red fish so that they look like a flower. Sprinkle red caviar thickly between the fish “leaves”.
A few green strips of parsley – and the royal salad with red fish is ready.

For the preparation of meat salad is traditionally used a diet breast, which contains a minimum of calories and has a very delicate taste.
However, lovers of juicy snacks can take drumsticks, thighs or other parts of the carcass, from skin and tendons. Orange pulp must also be cleaned of film and membranes.
So, boil or fry two chicken breasts until soft, cut into cubes or strips.
Rub 150 grams of hard cheese and 4 eggs on a coarse grater. For the salad you will need 3 oranges: cut two into cubes, and one for decoration into slices.
For a spicy taste, add Korean carrots to the salad.
You can buy ready-made or you can make your own. To rub this 500 grams of carrots on a special grater, add a tablespoon of sugar, half a teaspoon of salt, the same amount of black pepper, a tablespoon of vinegar and vegetable oil and 1-2 cloves of garlic.
And now put the salad in a form with a diameter of 20 cm. We put it on a plate, the bottom of which is pre-greased with mayonnaise.
The first layer is chicken fillet. From above we make a mesh of mayonnaise.
The second layer is Korean carrots, which we also cover with a small amount of mayonnaise.
The third layer is eggs and, of course, mayonnaise.
Finally – sprinkle the oranges with cheese and smear the top again with mayonnaise. Garnish the salad with orange slices, cover with cling film and put in the fridge.
After a few hours we remove the form. The salad was not only beautifully formed, but also bright and very tasty.
With pineapple and smoked brisket: simple and delicious
This salad is for those who want variety and are looking for recipes for new original dishes. Salad with a sweet and sour taste due to canned tropical fruits and smoked chicken will appeal to the whole family.
This dish is very easy to make, and the ingredients can be mixed together, layered, and other products can be added. As you wish.
To prepare, boil 5 eggs and cut them into medium-sized cubes. Cut 200 grams of smoked chicken breast and 200 grams of hard cheese into strips, and pineapple – also 200 grams – into small pieces. Combine all ingredients together, salt and season with mayonnaise.
Salad with sausage and croutons
This is a wonderful option for a festive New Year’s table. The salad is easy and quick to make, but despite this it is beautiful, satisfying and very fragrant.
To make it, in addition to crackers, you will also need Korean-style carrots, hunting sausages, cheese, spices and mayonnaise. Note that the main ingredients must be taken in the same proportions.
First we have to make croutons. To do this, take a loaf and cut it into small cubes. Pour them into a preheated pan with vegetable oil and fry on both sides.
While the slices of bread are cooling, cut the hunting sausages into circles of medium thickness.
Now take your favorite hard cheese and cut it into cubes or strips.
Pour hunting sausages, cheese, croutons and Korean-style carrots into a deep container and mix the salad.
Salt, pepper and season all ingredients with mayonnaise. You can also add your favorite spices, but be careful because this can drastically change the taste of the dish. Thoroughly mix the salad, put it on a plate and garnish with herbs.
Calamari plus Chinese cabbage
But this beautiful salad will definitely become a decoration of your festive table and will not leave anyone indifferent. This incredibly light snack has perfect taste, aroma and visual characteristics, but it contains simple and affordable ingredients.
Eggs and hard cheese make the salad hearty, squid – tender and tasty, and Chinese cabbage and greens – light and juicy. Together, these ingredients create a fantastic taste.
Take 2-3 squid carcasses and boil them for 5-7 minutes in boiling water. Meanwhile, cut 400 grams of hard cheese into strips and pour it into a deep bowl. Now take out the squid, rinse them with cold water, peel off the film and also cut into strips.
Wash, dry and finely chop the Chinese cabbage. Squeeze in the lemon juice and mix well.
Next, boil 4-5 eggs, peel them and cut them into small cubes.
Wash green onions, chop and pour into a bowl with other ingredients. Salt, pepper to taste and season with mayonnaise. Salad ready. Put it on a plate and decorate with herbs.
